Android 5.0 Lollipop Hidden Features Revealed

The Android Lollipop 5.0 is now out, but most users are probably unaware of several interesting features of arguably the most anticipated Android update.
Aside from the battery improvements and robust performance enhancements, Phone Arena compiled several hidden features of the latest Android update, including the "Tap & Go" feature.
According to Phone Arena, Android users will have an easier time transferring data from an old device to their new smartphone or tablet. With a simple tap, users can transfer accounts and data to their new device.
"This ['Tap & Go' feature] is extremely handy and should make the transition to a new Lollipop device easier than ever - even your icons and folders are installed and then arranged in the same way they were on the host device," Phone Arena wrote.
Google also added a new feature where users can easily search for Settings applications. If a user wants to know the battery status of the device, typing "battery" on the search bar will show settings related to the battery of the smartphone.
Android users previously complained about the lack of built-in flashlight application, but with the Lollipop update, consumers won't need to install third-party application anymore. Google included a Flashlight toggle in the notification pane, allowing users to quickly light up the LED-flash of their smartphones or tablets.
The new Android update also turned the lockscreen into a notification hub. Users previously expressed concern about it because anyone can see notifications that could reveal private information.
Google made sure that sensitive information won't be compromised. Users can either select to hide sensitive notification content or disable all lockscreen notification under "Sounds & Notifications" settings.
Google previously included an interesting feature - the hidden Easter egg. While most users thought that the company decided not to add that feature this year, Phone Arena also revealed the way to discover the hidden Easter egg for Lollipop devices.
"Google added an entire game. That's right, if you go to Settings > About phone > Tap on Android versions 4 times in a quick succession, you'll unlock the Easter egg. But to get to the game itself, you'll have to tap on the lollipop in the image several times and then long-press it," Phone Arena added.
