Twitter’s average users count is increasing day by day and soon can  be on top of our list . You can follow blogs , magazines , networks of your interest or build your own and keep yourself updated.

Have you ever wondered where do you go to search a video or share it obviously Youtube which the second largest search engine after Google. Google is the owner of Youtube but its users count is huge. You can share your videos , music online with the world freely , just make a free account  , create ,  customize and optimize your channel and you are done. My favourite social network in the list of Top 10 Social Networking Sites which is the fastest growing social network on the web is Google+. Google+ came into existence in 2011 and failed many a times but eventually got success after some of its updates which made the its users more and more excited hence the number of users increased day by day. In Google+ you can join communities related to your interest where you can share your content with other community members. Several Communities  can be found on Google+ and lots of active members to share content.

LinkedIn

The fifth social network listed in our Top 10 Social Networking Sites is LinkedIn. LinkedIn is an online social networking site for professionals who wants to make connections with other professionals worldwide. Its main aim is to professionally connect business persons , employers , employers with each other and help finding jobs , business partners etc. Up to date more than 100 million professionals are registered on LinkedIn. To start making connections , you need to register on LinkedIn and create a profile including your personal information , education , job details , previous experience and obviously your skills.

Pinterest

Many of our readers put there may or may have not heard of Pinterest , but let me give you an idea of it. Pinterest is an online virtual inspiration pinboard and a social bookmarking site. Pinterest has a great achievement of reaching average of 10.5 million unique monthly visitors. Pinterest as mentioned earlier is a social bookmarking website which allows you to pin your favourite things online and saves all your pins on your account for your ease of access. You can also follow and repin things your friends have already pinned.

Instagram

Our Top 10 Social Networking Sites list will be incomplete if my readers are not aware of Instagram. Instagram is a social network for sharing real time photos with your followers i.e. friends and family on the go. Instagram is an application for today’s smartphones. This app was limited to iOS platform  but later on expanded to Windows Phone and Android platforms.

My favourite microblogging platform indeed is Tumblr founded by David Karp in 2007.and owned by Yahoo Inc. Tumblr lets you capable of sharing anything i.e. Post text, photos , music and videos from your browser, smartphone, PC etc. Tumblr is very much popular with teenagers   and have more users than Facebook in the 13-20 age bracket. To register for a Tumblr blog, you must be at least 13 years of age.

Second last social network in our Top 10 Social Networking Sites is MySpace. MySpace gives you the facility to meet and find new people as there are lots of people and finding them is easier. MySpace also has music , videos which you can add to your personal website for free. Another interesting part of MySpace is that through email, forums,blogs and groups you can keep in touch with your MySpace friends.

Last but not the least our Top 10 Social Networking Sites list is concluded with Flickr. Flickr is a website that allows its users to store and share your photos online. Flickr’s free version has a limitation and allows you to upload up to 20MB of photos each month.
